1. Would you like a new song, a new song to share?
Would you like to sing out loud, and let them know you care?
Everyday with the sunrise, the song begins again.
A lightbeam glistens on the morning mist, and the melody begins.
REFRAIN
Jesus is a new song,
Oh he's everyday you see.
Jesus is a new song
and he sings for you and me.
2. He sings a song for the lonely ones, searching for a
friend.
He sings a song for the busy ones, whose bustle never ends.
He sings a song for every child, laughing as they play.
He sings a song for each lost soul, who's traveling astray.
REFRAIN
BRIDGE
He sings out low and deep, deeper than the sea.
He sings out high and clear, like a song bird in the tree.
He sings our loud and strong oh for all the world to hear
and softer than a baby's breath, gently in your ear. REFRAIN
3. Can you hear the new song, this song across the land?
Can you hear it's melody, and can you take a stand?
Join on in with harmony, adding to the sound.
The sound of all eternity as the angels gather round. REFRAIN

REFRAIN
Footprints on the sands of life
Footprints on the shore.
Footprints on the sands of time
Footprints and some more,
some more...
As I look across my life
through a lens of time.
Footprints on the shore I see,
Footprints left behind,
behind...
Lord, I see our footprints there,
those both your's and mine.
As side by side we made our way
across the sands of time,
of time...
Lord, I have a question I must ask you
about a night of sorrow long ago.
A night I thought my life was not worth living.
A night I thought I'd never make it through.
Lord there's only one set of footprints
on that night of sorrow long ago.
How could you have left me there alone
as I cried in agony to you? Oh to you. REFRAIN
O my son you know how much I love you.
You know I gave my life to set you free.
Look again at those footprints on the shoreline.
Can you see those nail prints in the sand?
On the night of darkness then I carried you
Lifted you up in my arms of love.
When you thought you'd never see tomorrow,
I'm the one who helped you make it through. Make it through. REFRAIN
FINALE
God's love is more is more.
God's love is more is more.
God's love is more is more...

REFRAIN
We're God's brave followers following on -
following night and day.
Oh we follow where the Savior leads
in all our work and play.
1. Oh Elijah was a follower
'cause he built an altar to his God,
and fire came down from heaven,
'cause he served the one true God
(one true God). REFRAIN
2. Oh Esther was a follower
and a beauty queen was her fame,
but she risked her life to save the Jews,
and by God's helping hand she overcame
(she overcame). REFRAIN
3. Three Hebrew men, they were followers
for they worshiped not the royal king.
In the fiery furnace they warmed their hands,
but God saved them from it's flames
(from it's flames). REFRAIN
4. Job, he was a follower,
through sickness and great shame,
but he cried out to the Lord above
and God healed him from his pain
(from his shame). REFRAIN
5. Jonah was a follower
but he learned his lesson rather hard.
In the belly of a monstrous fish
he cried out to his Lord
(to his Lord). REFRAIN

Peace, perfect peace, in this dark world of sin?
The blood of Jesus whispers peace, whispers peace within.
Peace, perfect peace, by thronging duties pressed?
To do the will of Jesus Christ, this, this is rest.
Peace, perfect peace, with loved ones far away?
In Jesus' keeping we are safe; safe and so are they.
Peace, perfect peace, our future all unknown?
Jesus we know and he is now, He's now upon the throne.
Peace, perfect peace, death shadowing us and ours?
Jesus has vanquished the sting of death, and triumphed over its
powers.
Peace, perfect peace.
Peace, perfect peace.

REFRAIN 1
Happily your energy
is flowing free for all to see,
as you run along and
sing a song in the sunshine
run along and
sing a song in the sunshine. Ooo...
1. Come ye little children
unto the Lord above
He's the one who cares for you
He'll hold you in his love.
Lift you up into his arms
and show you how to stand
'Cause you know that little children
are special in his plan. REFRAIN 1
2. Everyone's a little child
before the King above.
Everyone needs to stand
inside his arms of love.
Come to him he'll show you
he'll help you understand;
That you can be a special one
important in his plan.
REFRAIN 2
Joyfully his energy
is flowing free for all to see,
as we run along and
sing a song in his Son's shine
as we run along and
sing a song in his Son's shine.
3. Live each day remembering
just whose you really are.
For He will come and
take us home beyond the morning star.
Surely he'll come again
and surely take us home
Victorious on the streets of gold
we'll stand before his throne. REFRAIN 2

INTRO REFRAIN
Boy and girl go out to play,
out beneath the sun.
A sandbox by the playhouse lay,
and there, there is where they run.
1. She dresses like a movie star,
and catches frogs in her hand.
He builds some roads within the sand,
then swings across "his" land.
REFRAIN 1
Sandbox dreams and playhouse songs,
out beneath the sun.
Shaping sand and make pretend,
was so easy then, was so easy then.
2. The lights go down; and the ice is clean;
the music starts to play.
She takes his hand and they spin around,
together they glide away.
REFRAIN 2
In those sandbox dreams and playhouse songs,
out beneath the sun.
Memories from our "yester-years",
the laughters, hopes, joys, and fears.
3. His voice goes out across the crowd,
and paints a picture there.
Some laugh, some cry, some sing out loud,
as the picture now they share. REFRAIN 1
REFRAIN 1
Sandbox dreams and playhouse songs,
out beneath the sun.
Shaping sand and make pretend,
was so easy then, was so easy then.
BRIDGE
"Grow up", I say, "grow up. Who do you think that you are?"
"Grow up", I say, "grow up. Who do you think that you are?"
REFRAIN 3
Sandbox dreams and playhouse songs,
out beneath the sun.
Fade away in whispered tones,
as the sands, turn into stone,
as the sands, turn into stone...
REFRAIN 4
Sandbox dreams and playhouse songs,
out beneath the sun.
Whispered on the wings of love,
whispered by the Master above.
4. Turn your eyes on me, my child,
let me show you the way.
Focus on my plan for your life,
and follow day by day. (3X)
REFRAIN 5
Sandbox dreams and playhouse songs,
out beneath the sun.
They come to life in a brand new way,
as sand in the Master's hand today,
as sand in the Master's hand today.

A tiny baby so weak just born,
yet so strong for his name.
One precious child for a people to grow,
could he be for me? Could he be for you?
BRIDGE
This child has a reason we should all know
He has been born for us.
REFRAIN
But sometimes we forget why he died.
Why he gave his life for us.
So let's tell them, our friend, our child,
the neighbor at our door.
About this baby who grew to be
our true guiding light. REFRAINJesus, Jesus, won't you come,
come and live in me.
Tiny baby, guiding light,
come and live in me.
Come and live in me.

"The clock maker made the world," you say,
"Oh, He made the world and He's gone away,
He leaves it there behind the glass -
watching what will come to pass
in this world. "
1. John 15:5 "I am the Vine
And ye are the branch
he that abides in me,
Oh the same shall bear much fruit.
For without me you can do nothing." REFRAIN
2. Mt 11:29 "Take my yoke upon you
And learn of me.
For I am weak and lowly
And rest you'll find in me.
For my yoke is easy and light." REFRAIN
3. Psalm 23 "The Lord is my Shepherd
And I shall not want.
He makes me lie in green pastures
And my head he shall anoint,
And I will dwell in his house forever.
And I will dwell in his house forever." REFRAIN
FINALE
"The clock maker made the world," I say,
"Oh He made the world and he's here to stay.
He stands beside us day by day,
helping us to find our way in this world.
The shepherd and the vine,
helping us to find our way. "
Won't you come I say,
come to him I pray -

As a boat that sailed the sea
you solved life's mystery.
You learned to set your course
to reach a heavenly port.
You knew the science books;
You knew just what it took,
to put a man in space
in this, our time and place.
But that was not the key
that solved life's mystery.
Instead you set your course
by the Star from Galilee.
That's why we now can sing,
that's why we now can bring,
Praises to God our King
who brought you home... (cause now you're)
REFRAIN
Walking along in the Angel's land.
Running along at the Lord's right hand,
Singing out loud in an Angel band.
Singing, "Alleluia, Alleluia, Oh, Allelu".
BRIDGE
Worthy is the Lamb, Worthy is the Lamb,
Worthy is the Lamb, Worthy is the Lamb. REFRAIN
And now your boat has come
to its eternal home.
Your time on earth has past.
You're in his arms at last.
You found just what it took
inside God's Holy Book.
You call us all to look,
there for ourselves.
For there we'll find the key
that solves life's mystery.
We'll learn to set our course,
by the Star from Galilee.
And then we'll truly sing,
And then we'll truly bring,
Praises to God our King
who can bring us home. (and then we'll, be) REFRAIN (X2)

With coworkers, friends, family, and loved ones, we all have
misunderstandings.
© 1989 Yobel Music (ASCAP)
1. Misunderstandings are like the Berlin wall,
building up between us so easily.
Stone by stone it higher grows 'til we no longer see,
the hopes and dreams, the joys and fears, in you and me.
REFRAIN 1
Oh I'm calling out across the wall, hear me.
Oh There's got to be another way, Oh please.
2. Misunderstandings, they come so easily,
in silent thoughts, unspoken words, in buried pain.
Time by time the distance grows, 'til friendship starts to wane,
and trust is gone like picnic's fun in summer's rain. REFRAIN 1
3. Misunderstandings, they have a remedy,
in what a man did long ago on Calvary's tree.
Nail by nail they hung him there, cursed and left to die,
Forgiveness was the gift he gave, for you and I.
REFRAIN 2
Oh I'm calling out across the wall, hear me.
Forgiveness is the way to be set free.
4. Misunderstandings, I see them start to fade.
A word of love, a smile of hope, forgiveness made.
Word by word we start to see each other once again.
The Berlin wall it starts to fall as pride gives in.
REFRAIN 3
Oh let's tear the wall, let's tear the wall, down. [Switch to
4/4]
Together we can tear this old wall down.
You and I and God can tear this old wall down.
Down, down, down, down, down, tear it down.
Down, down, down, down, down, tear it down.
Tear the wall, down....... Down!

Truly the eye of the Lord is on those,
those who fear only him.
On those who hope in his steadfast love,
to deliver their souls from death.
And then to keep them alive in famine
And to keep them alive.
Our soul waits for the Lord.
He is our help and our shield.
Our heart is glad in him,
because we trust in his holy name.
Let your steadfast love, O Lord,
be upon us we pray.
Even as we hope in you,
as we hope in you Lord.
Even as we hope in you,
let your love come we pray.

The darkness fades and the light comes out to play.
The birds arise and announce a brand new day.
"Come explore," is the song they seem to sing.
"Unwrap this gift and see what your lives can bring."
So I'll join them now in a song of joy today.
Lord above please lead and show the way,
As I humbly bow to you and pray.
Thank you, Lord, for today.
Thank you, Lord, for today.
Thank you, Lord, I pray.
(Instrumental - representing a hectic work day)
The sunlight fades and the dark comes out to play.
The birds take roost and announce the end of day.
"We've explored," is the song they seem to sing.
"Unwrapped this gift and seen what our lives can
bring."
So I'll join them now in a song of joy today.
Lord above, you led and showed the way,
as I humbly bow to you and pray.
Thank you, Lord, for today.
Thank you, Lord, for today.
Thank you, Lord, I pray.

and give you peace;
and give you peace.
Amen, Amen, Amen.
