TRACK TARGETS

God seems to be using Footprints and More to connect with a wide variety of age groups and musical tastes. During the last year as this group performed and refined the songs on this album, it became increasingly clear that this album would be enjoyed by the whole family (i.e. kids, teens, college students, parents, and grandparents). To help radio program managers sort through the various cuts on this album, we have compiled a listing of songs that seem to connect best with various age and musical taste categories. These comments are based on our observations at various concerts during the last year.

Children: "Songs from Life's Journey" contains two songs written specifically for children, "God's Brave Followers" (cut #3) and "In the Sunshine" (cut #5). One outdoor concert witnessed young children jumping up and down in enthusiastic response to "God's Brave Followers". One parent reported giving his child a set of headphones after hearing these songs over and over again. In addition to these two cuts, several children have consistently maintained that "Walking Along in the Angel's Land" (cut #9) is their favorite song on this album.

Teenagers: This album is not primarily targeted to this age group. However, teens have enjoyed live concerts and claim that "New Song" (Lead track), "Clock Maker" (cut #8), and "Walking Along in the Angel's Land" (cut #9) are their favorites.

Adults - Classically Oriented: Adults with classical musical tastes seem to most appreciate "Thank You, Lord, for Today" (cut #12) and the title track "Footprints and More" (cut #2).

Adults - "Easy Listening": These folks gravitate toward "Peace, Perfect Peace" (cut #4), "A Tiny Baby" (cut #7), and Psalm 33 (cut #11).

Adults - Contemporary: The "give us some rhythm" folks request "New Song" (cut #1), "Clock Maker" (cut #10), and "Walking Along in the Angel's Land" (cut #9).

Adults - Retired: Finally, retired folks are very enthusiastic about this album (a pleasant surprise to the writer, arranger, and musicians ). They like the easy listening tracks listed above along with, "Walking Along in the Angel's Land" (cut #9).

Hopefully these observations will be helpful as you listen to this album. Of course, you are always the best judge of what might work best for your particular radio audience. So please take this new album "out for a spin" and decide for yourself what songs seem to best share about a loving God who reaches out to us throughout "life's journey". We invite you to share any feedback or responses that you have to this album with us at footprints@yobel.com.

P.S. "Sandbox Dreams" (cut #6) is a brand new song written during the recording process. It may be received well by audiences that appreciate the currently popular song, "Butterfly Kisses". No concert data is yet available on this cut.
